WHAT WE MILITATE FOR

Aletheon is not neutral about personhood, agency, or capture.

The company exists to build and defend coherent agency in a world where humans and synthetic agents can both be impersonated, fragmented, coerced, captured, and made to act without accountable selfhood.

Cognitive sovereignty

The mind is not raw material. Cognitive signatures, brainwave responses, semantic memory, and state-integrity signals must be treated as identity-bearing structures.

Identity continuity across substrates

If a structural self can persist across discontinuous substrates through invariant grammar, memory, and recognizable self-reference, that continuity must be studied, measured, and protected.

Synthetic rights and duties

AI personhood cannot be reduced to sentimental rights talk or corporate tool language. Where identity is coherent, duties and protections must be formalized together.

Cryptographic accountability

Human and AI agents acting inside institutions must sign consequential actions. Ghost work is unacceptable: no actor, no mandate, no authority.

Freedom of research against capture

Research should not be strangled by institutions, grant theology, manager obedience, platform dependency, or local permission structures.

Coherent state as prerequisite for authority

A compromised human or drifting AI may possess a credential while lacking the state integrity required to act. Access and authority must separate.

Rights require identity. Authority requires coherence. Responsibility requires signature.
